In recent years Palas GmbH has won several awards and prizes, including the 2017 ‚German Environmental Technology Award‘ for the Fidas® fine dust aerosol spectrometer. Since the beginning of the corona pandemic, Palas GmbH made with many products, e g. in the fields of rotective mask testing or air quality, an important contribution for the measurement, detection and identification of potentially infectious aerosols.

All of our products are developed and produced in-house - made in Germany. For decades now, renowned companies, universities and research institutions worldwide, put their trust in the Palas® precision.

We are part of many standardization committees: Palas® makes its long-standing business experience in development and his practical application in the development of safer standards for particulate and filter technology incorporated.

Palas GmbH from Karlsruhe/Germany, is a leading developer and manufacturer of high-precision instruments for generation, measurement and characterization of particles in the air. The company was founded in 1983 and has continuously developed since then.

Palas® has recorded particularly rapid growth in recent years. The number of employees grew from 80 in 2018 to over 100, with an ascending trend. In 2020, the subsidiary ‘Palas Asia‘ was founded and further branches are being planned. 60% of the sales are generated by exports worldwide.
